Calendar views
Keep the features of an open-source calendar, but bring the design much closer to the calendars people already know, so anyone can schedule meetings and events without training.
Mind map, persona and user stories, then wireframes, low-fi prototypes in Adobe XD and high-fidelity mockups built on the suite’s design system. Every flow, like adding a colleague’s leave to the shared calendar, was tested before handoff through Zeplin.
A tidy, intuitive calendar designed in about two months, integrated with the rest of the suite and released for multiple platforms. The founders were very happy with the result.
Organizations needed a calendar that felt as easy as the one they used at home, with shared and private calendars, video meeting scheduling and tight links to chat, email and contacts.
As the only designer on a six-person team, I designed the app end to end and supervised the implementation of the UI.
